Books & Backpacks - A Community Supply Drive - 8/4/24
Lolita Productions, Somos Arte and Humboldt Park are proud to bring back our FIFTH ANNUAL Books and Backpacks community supply drive on Sunday, 8/4//24!
Last year, we were able to serve over three hundred Chicago students from grades pre-k to 12! Our teams were brought together to create this event out of love and hope for the community, and we were so blessed to see all the ways the community showed up and showed out! We couldn't do this work without our people so, THANK YOU!
Lolita's Bodega is a proud sponsor of this event and is offering spaces to our vendors on a donation basis. In lieu of paying a fee, we are asking that vendors donate samples of their products for patrons to take home or provide items that may be used to fill our Mami bags. The first 20 moms that arrive at Books and Backpacks will receive a tote bag filled with goodies that they can use to pamper themselves at home.
This event is a prime opportunity to market your products to various community organizations, patrons of the park and ample sponsors!
